I am a recovering journalist in Los Angeles, Calif. who has always said that if I could have a dream job, I’d be writing postcards for a living. I aim to make the vignettes thoughtful, amusing and short enough that they can fit on an actual paper postcard. They’ll be coming from travels near and far. I could blab on about being inspired by epistolary novels, the compact poems of Emily Dickinson and the New Yorker’s “Talk of the Town” pieces, but hey, you probably don’t want to hear too much from the English major in me. So I’ll just sum up this blog by saying: Wish you were here!

What I dont understand is how youre not even more popular than you are now. Youre just so intelligent. You know so much about this subject, made me think about it from so many different angles. Its like people arent interested unless it has something to do with Lady Gaga! Your stuffs great. Keep it up!
